Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SiteGlance (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using SiteGlance on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. The service

SiteGlance provides a cloud-based construction project reporting and dashboard platform. The Service allows project managers to create project dashboards, publish weekly updates, share progress with clients, manage programme timelines, and generate PDF reports. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share your login credentials or allow unauthorised access to your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use SiteGlance.
• One account may be associated with one organisation. Multiple team members can be invited under the same organisation.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use SiteGlance to:

• Upload unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or misleading content.
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, feature gates, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or resell any part of the Service.
• Upload malware or attempt to compromise our systems or other users’ data.
• Use the AI draft feature to generate content that is false, deceptive, or harmful.
• Use shared client links for any purpose other than sharing project progress with authorised recipients.

5. Plans and billing

• SiteGlance offers a Free tier and paid plans (Pro, Team, Business). Plan limits — including project count, team size, and feature availability — are described on the pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. A 14-day free trial of the Pro plan is available to new accounts.
• All prices are exclusive of VAT. UK VAT will be applied where applicable.
• You may cancel at any time from the Billing settings page. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
• If payment fails, we will retry collection for 7 days. If payment is not collected, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier. Your data is retained.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ written notice by email.

6. Your content

You own all content you upload to SiteGlance — including project data, updates, and photos. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, including site photographs. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. AI-generated content

The AI draft feature uses the Google Gemini API to generate suggested update summaries based on your project data. AI-generated content is a draft aid only — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before publishing it to clients. SiteGlance makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated text.

8. Liability

SiteGlance is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or indirect or consequential damages.

9. Client-shared data

When you share a project link with a client, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information shared and for ensuring the recipient is authorised to receive it. SiteGlance provides the technical mechanism for sharing; we are not responsible for any consequences arising from the content of shared reports.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, with or without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile settings page. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
